Is avocado a fruit?

Feeling a little hung over from the night before, I didn’t really feel like eating till noonish… I was heading out to the northern burbs to catch up with my friend Stormboy, or Warren Bloomer. I met him and his son Callum at some train station, near the park they had been riding in with friends Stuart and Tami.
By now hunger had started to kick in, I was waiting for them at a train station and noticed a fruit shop across the road, lunch today consisted of a bunch of grapes and an avocado, both of which I devoured with vigour.
